Ask A Barista #2: Taylor

Once a month we  sit down with a wonderful barista and ask them coffee related questions, then share their answers with you here.taylor-macleod

So without any further delay here is Ask A Barista #2 Taylor

Q: Who are you?

A: Taylor MacLeod

Q: Where do you work?

A: Batdorf & Bronson’s Capitol Way Coffee House

Q: How long have you been there?

A: It will be a year in October!

Q: What is your current favorite coffee? Why?

A: My current fav is Organic Mexico or Yirgacheffe Aricha.  I like the chocolate notes in the Mex & the tea-likeness of the Yirg.

Q: What is your favorite way to enjoy espresso?

A:  I really enjoy an Italiano style Americano, 4 oz Americano, or a traditional Capp.

Q: What is your favorite drink to make? Why?

A: 8 or 12 latte, I’m obsessed with anything I can pour art onto.

Q: Other than Espresso what is your favorite brewing method?

A:  I like the ease of the clever, it’s what I use at home or a v60/Chemex, I’m a paper filter guy!!

Q: What is one thing you are dying to tell the world about coffee?

A: Since I’ve worked in coffee I have met some really amazing and passionate people which has inspired me both inside and outside of work. If you want to get into a field of work with some of the greatest people, get into coffee. Plus, it tastes amazing!
