Esmeralda & the turkey cook-off

The second annual Turkey cook-off was held at Pacific Beach, WA. My partner with our extended family and friends have made the Sandpiper Inn a destination spot for our Holiday meal. We serve two turkeys and cook them each differently and compete for which tastes best. I lost this year due to time constraints and the over-all beauty of Dave’s bird. The Panama Esmeralda was a fabulous addition to our tradition and much enjoyed by our family and friends. We had it with the “after Thanksgiving brunch” of bourbon, vanilla, French toast with fruit syrup and whipped cream. Yum….

What type of vacuum pot is that?

Amelia spent the holiday with her family and brought them some of the famous Esmeralda; hence the post I did a few days ago – http://tazzadoro.net/news/tazza-d-oro/refresher-on-brewing-coffee-in-a-french-press/
Love that pic. Those vacuum coffee pots just look so fresh.
And soooo good too!
