Springtime and New Crop Coffees

Flower blossoms, trees in bloom, sunny days, the return of migratory birds and new crop coffees all begin to awaken us from our Winter repose.  Spring is one of my favorite times of the year because the new crop coffees begin to wander in.  The intense fresh aroma of the green beans tantalize your senses creating zealous anticipation.  Strong floral, sweet, savory, fruity and herby aromas are liberated from the beans while being roasted.  The flavors of the final brew and smells that are generated remind me of my training many years ago and how much I love my job as a Roaster.  Keep an eye out for other posts or articles related to the arrival of our new crop coffees as well as other limited offerings on the horizon.
